Jojo, de son vrai nom Joana Levesque, n'a pas perdu de temps pour devenir une star…
Née le 20 décembre 1990 à Foxboro, dans le Massachusetts, Jojo s’intéresse à la musique très tôt. Sa mère l'inscrit au casting de l'émission Kids Say the Darnedest Things on the Road in Boston, présentée par Bill Cosby. Dans ce show télé, Jojo ne passe pas inaperçue, si bien que la célèbre présentatrice Oprah Winfrey l’invite dans son show. A 8 ans, Jojo est une vraie star locale, et quitte l’école pour se consacrer à sa carrière.
Elle se présente au casting de l'émission America's Most Talented Kid's, Star Ac’ version US, où Vincent Herbert, producteur de Destiny's child et d'Aaliyah, remarque son talent. Jojo enregistre alors son premier single, Leave, qui fait un carton aux USA et en France, puis sort son premier album, également intitulé Leave. Son second single, Baby It's you, est sorti début 2005.
Entre temps, on a pu entendre la jolie voix de Jojo sur la BO du film Gang de requins.

LA BIOGRAPHIE DE GAD ELMALEH
A 16 ans, Gad Elmaleh quitte son Maroc natal et sa petite famille pour Montréal. Il débute dans divers domaines : radio, télévision, cabarets. En 1992, il arrive à Paris, après un passage au cours Florent, et fait ses premiers pas sur scène dans 'Les Libertins' en tant que figurant. Quelques années plus tard a lieu son premier spectacle 'Décalages' à Montréal, qu'il joue ensuite au Maroc puis à Paris. Il apparaît alors au cinéma notamment dans 'Salut cousin', 'Vive la république', 'L'homme est une femme comme les autres'. Il revient sur les planches dans 'Tout contre' en 1999, et poursuit avec son nouveau spectacle 'La Vie normale' qui récolte un accueil chaleureux et justifié. Son troisième one-man show, 'L'Autre, c'est moi', est un franc succès. Il est maître de cérémonie aux Césars en 2004 et en 2005. Pour ce qui est de sa carrière cinématographique 'La Vérité si je mens 2', 'Chouchou', 'La Doublure' ou plus récemment 'Hors de prix' en font l'un des comiques préférés des Français. En mars 2006, le ministre de la Culture Renaud Donnedieu de Vabres l'a élevé au rang de chevalier dans l'Ordre des Arts.

Il a reçu cette distinction en hommage à la qualité de son travail et au succès qu'il a rencontré auprès du public, et notamment avec le personnage de Chouchou.

 He was different from birth. The Super Star Ragheb Alama was born on June 7th 1962. One of six brothers and three sisters, Ragheb was a welcome addition by his parents to their happy family. His childhood years dashed before his young eyes. From an early start, the celebrity showed signs of genius, he was an unprecedented talent soon to be discovered. Everyone in his family was anticipating the future of this child who was, different.
SCHOOLING
At school the Super Star was a devoted pupil. He thrived on knowledge and he worked hard on perfecting his personality. He took a particular interest in Culture and tried to incorporate it with his background to confront the many challenges that would later on meet him in his life. In his youth, albeit being dynamic, he was also aloof, which imaged an artistic drive in him. This he inherited from his father who used to play the Lute as a hobby. The music ambiance in the Alama house, had a great influence on Ragheb's music career.
Ragheb was 12 years old when he ventured into the music world, by participating in a live program at the Lebanese radio station .This was his first move towards what was later to become superstardom.
ACHIEVEMENTS
After his first successful experience Ragheb took on a second challenge when he particiapted at the Lebanese radio station in a talent program that was hosted by several significant Lebanese artists. He met with further success when through his voice, he managed to capture the hearts of his listeners. At this point in his life, Ragheb did not want to settle for less than a Super Star. He had a sound of his own. He decided to join the Lebanese Conservatory to further train his voice and study the Lute, thus combining his talent with what he held dearly close to heart, the weapon of knowledge.
In 1980, when Ragheb was barely 18 years old, he participated in a live talent competition at the renown show, Studio El Fan. That show was to be the turning point in his career. His voice, along with his charm, aura and unique performance managed to secure him the first prize. From the moment Ragheb put foot on that stage a Star was born. Since that glorious day Ragheb became known as the Arab Super Star of our time.
His official debut as a celebrity was with the launch of his first album "Boukra Byoubrom Doulabak" which featured a series of successful songs including the famous song "mabrouk" "abalak naghams" by the artist Ihsan El Monzer. From then on Ragheb shot to fame and he gained recognition in the Arab World. His numerous albums along with a wide number of concerts and several honorary prizes put Ragheb in the rank of top Arab Entertainers, and his reputation as the Arab Super Star spread to other continents as well as the United States of America. Ragheb's music production to date stands at 13 albums and 24 Video Clips.
CONCERTS AND SHOWS
The responsibility that fell upon Raghebs shoulders, became bigger than his dreams, and with it came his much acclaimed status and wisdom. He strived to live up to his unequalled reputation and he became the ambassador of Arabic Music for the whole world. He participated in various official concerts and shows around the world, some of which were in Kartage, Latica, Cairo, Jarach, Beirut, Bahrain, Dubai, Libya .
His great contribution to the mass recognition of Arabic Music was attributed to the fact that he was among the first Arab Artist to produce Video Clips for his songs, which in result went on to introduce the Arabic Music to millions of International Television Viewers.
In honor for his many great achievements and his commitment to music, Ragheb was awarded several prizes from the Media and the Press. He became a hero for the Arab youth and to many, he is a dream come true.
Following this brief introduction into the life of Ragheb Alama, Ragheb is still venturing into new experiences and will be raising the banner of Arabic Stardom for years to come.
